Dan is widely recognised as a highly professional and dedicated actor, writer, director and producer. He is renowned for thriving on opportunities to challenge his diverse range of skills and abilities, and has performed extensively on both stage and screen. He has been the recipient of several writing awards and has had his work presented around the world.

LACHIE & JOHN is the fourth short film he’s had produced professionally, with the script listed as one of five national finalists for the prestigious AACTA Pitch: Forever New in 2019. His previous films have screened at a number of festivals around the world, with LONG WAY DOWN premiering in competition at the Montreal World Film Festival in 2015 and JERRY MENZEL premiering at the St Kilda Film Festival in 2016 before headlining the Alaska World Arts Festival short film presentations in 2021. Dan was also a finalist in the Olympus St Kilda Film Festival Challenge in 2016 based on the story outline for Jerry Menzel.

From a writing perspective, he’s currently in development for a heartfelt comedy feature film and a hard-hitting TV drama serial.
