Private Project

DOS - extended

In a polluted, dystopian future where the sky is ash and the ground is plastic, a ragged beggar wanders through the ruins of a dead city. On a desolate sand hill, he encounters a naked man—silent, still, almost mythical. Between them, without words, begins a strange game. Primitive, ritualistic. Echoes of childhood gestures long forgotten.

In this broken world that has turned humans into strangers—alien and alienated—two beings try to connect through instinct, body, and play. A raw form of communication emerges, bypassing language and logic, diving into the subconscious like a forgotten code from before the fall.

They do not speak. But something in them remembers.
And that memory, perhaps, is the last form of resistance.

Director Biography - Domiziano Cristopharo

Domiziano Cristopharo is an Italian horror filmmaker and Butoh performer whose work fuses European extremity with Japanese aesthetics. Born in Rome in 1974, he has become a key figure of underground transgressive cinema, moving from body horror and performance art into cyberpunk and occult themes. Recent projects such as Blue Sunset and Yokai explore a hybrid world where Italian cult cinema, Butoh-inspired physicality, and Japanese folklore coexist, creating a distinct cross-cultural language for both film and theatre.
