Cyro Rossi has a passion for neorealism, admires and follows the works of Xavier Dolan, Abdellatif Kechiche, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Matteo Garrone just to name a few. He was born in Florence on May 29, 1977. After graduating from the Liceo Artistico in Florence, he went to live in Germany, England, the United States and Brazil during the various stages of his life. After his return to Florence he decided to follow his passion in the world of cinema. He then studied acting at Giuseppe Ferlito's Imagina school. Since then Cyro has participated in various short and feature films including "Maria per Roma" by Karen Di Porto (silver ribbon and gold globe)
In 2011 Cyro moved to Rome where she studied Strasbourg method at the Duse school with Francesca De Sapio. Then he made the bold leap behind the camera and in 2017 made his debut with the short film “Buscije”. Since then he has made other short films; "Binario 4", "Keep Walking", both in 2019, "A R R U B I U", “Sono Io” and the web series 'Aut Aut' in 2020. Cyro took part, as protagonist, in Jamie Jones feat. leave Ya 'Over each other' by Vito Vinci and will soon be on Amazon Prime Video as Anna Foglietta's husband, in the film 'The talent of the hornet' by Giacomo Cimini, starring Anna Foglietta and Sergio Castellitto herself. He currently works with the CDA Studio di Nardo agency in Rome.
