The film takes place in a synthetic environment, in a time yet to come. Soccer is portrayed as something distant and forgotten. Someone tries to put the pieces together, and the result is a figurative representation of what the sport meant socially and culturally.
The soccer player, one of the few brazilian still alive, run through a small strip of grass, surrounded by a large empty space. His ankle is tied to a long chain, that is dragged along with him.
Suddenly, the chain reveals itself to be tied to another place, and, now completely stretched, tumbles the soccer player down. Not able to reach the ball gain, he can only watch a group of kids take it away. In a final effort, he steps forward, pulling the chain to it's limit again.
