Crystal Coated

"Crystal Coated" is a short dance film inspired by and created to the song "Crystal Coated" by Aaron Fontwell. This dance film explores the effect of wearing rose-colored glasses in the midst of harmful situations. Our protagonists are entangled, unable to see situations for what they really are until they remove their blinders. Filming took place in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Director Biography - Anastasia Keating

ANASTASIA KEATING is a dance artist, telling stories through movement. She is a dance performer, choreographer, and instructor with 20 years of training and 3 years in professional work. She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Pedagogy, Summa Cum Laude and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Summa Cum Laude. She was selected as PBA’s Outstanding Graduate in Dance 2019 and as PBA’s Creativity Award 2019 recipient. In 2019, she interned with The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and was contracted by PBA to choreograph for the Dance Ensemble. In addition to avidly working as a dance instructor and choreographer, Anastasia is a performing company member with Kinect Dance Collective and always looks for new ways to share dance with others.
