From Executive Producer Emilio Estefan comes Croqueta Nation. A film that combines Miami's culinary scene with a restauranteur's vision to unite a community by breaking a world record. Set in Miami, this feel good and playful story follows Carlos Gazitua, owner of Sergio's Cuban Restaurants, as he sets out to make croqueta history. His big plans of making the world's longest croqueta won't be easy to achieve, but will they be worth it in the end?

Guillermo Alfonso directs this epic tale of a small culinary snack from Miami. Joining in on the fun is super producer Emilio Estefan, WWE champion Dana Brooks, Iheart radio host Enrique Santos and even the Mayor of Miami. Director Biography - Guillermo Alfonso

Guillermo Alfonso is a film maker from Miami with a unique style of storytelling. Usually niche and quirky, Alfonso likes to take the viewer on a journey normally inaccessible. From the Yamakoshi Mountains of Japan filming koi fish to the mean streets of Nigeria filming African religions, we always get a sense of understanding and appreciation of where these stories come from through Alfonso's lens. He is able to keep you locked in with his beautiful imagery yet take you on an emotional roller coaster with the topics and casts. His latest project is Croqueta Nation, a short documentary centered around a croqueta set to break the world record in length.
