🇮🇹 Laureato in Lettere Moderne all’Università di Bari nel 2014, Cristiano Ciliberti (1992) si iscrive al DAMS di Roma Tre alla magistrale in Cinema, TV e Produzioni multimediali e contemporaneamente alla Scuola di Cinema Sentieri Selvaggi, dove coltiva la sua ambizione di diventare regista. Inizia a lavorare sui set nel reparto regia e produzione e contemporaneamente gira alcuni cortometraggi autoprodotti che vengono notati all’estero.
Nel 2019 fonda insieme a Sabrina Scansani, sceneggiatrice delle opere da lui dirette, la casa di produzione cinematografica Scrigno Production che nel 2020 mette in scena alcuni spettacoli teatrali. Nello stesso anno ottengono i diritti di riproduzione dell’opera narrativa La velocità dell’angelo, di Gianrico Carofiglio, programmata per uscire nei teatri entro il 2024.
Nel 2021 collaborano in qualità di produzione associata al film Bocche Inutili, prodotto da RAI Cinema e Well See. Nell’agosto dello stesso anno raccolgono intorno a sé numerosi consensi e manifestazione di interesse e iniziano le riprese de Il Pirata, lungometraggio d’esordio che vince i Contributi Selettivi di Produzione 2022 del Ministero della Cultura (Fondo Cinema e Audiovisivo).

🇬🇧 Graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Bari in 2014, Cristiano Ciliberti (1992) enrolled at the DAMS of Roma Tre in the master's degree in Cinema, TV and Multimedia Productions and simultaneously at the Sentieri Selvaggi Cinema School, where he cultivated his ambition to become a director . He starts working on the sets in the direction and production department and at the same time shoots some self-produced short films that are noticed abroad.
In 2019 he founded together with Sabrina Scansani, screenwriter of the works he directed, the film production company Scrigno Production which in 2020 stages some theatrical performances. In the same year they obtained the rights to reproduce the narrative work The speed of the angel, by Gianrico Carofiglio, scheduled to be released in theaters by 2024.
In 2021 they collaborate as an associated production on the film Bocche Inutili, produced by RAI Cinema and Well See. In August of the same year they gathered around them numerous acclaim and expressions of interest and filming began on Il Pirata, a debut feature film that won the Selective Production Contributions 2022 from the Ministry of Culture (Cinema and Audiovisual Fund).
