Experiencing Interruptions?

Crayon

Inspired by true events, Crayon follows two university students studying in Singapore—Adam Wan, a hardworking Malaysian ASEAN scholar, and his roommate Rafaat, a gifted Malay Singaporean IT student. Though very different in personality and background, the two become close friends.

As part of a social responsibility programme during their semester break, they volunteer at a children's home in Malaysia run by the compassionate Mak Engku. There, they meet Afiq, a lively young orphan whose zest for life teaches them to appreciate life's simple joys.

While helping the orphanage, Adam and Rafaat witness the hardships faced by the children and their caretakers. Their newfound sense of purpose is tested when property developers threaten the orphanage's land. Determined to help, the friends organise a charity concert and fundraising efforts, but tragedy strikes when the orphanage is destroyed in a fire.

Faced with heartbreak and doubt, Adam and Rafaat must confront the meaning of friendship, sacrifice and hope, discovering that true compassion often endures even in the face of loss.
