Lian van Leeuwen (@saltlake_lian) is a Rotterdam-based photographer and filmmaker, aiming to tell purposeful stories from within the world of cycling.
Cracked Earth is a film she directed and produced for Shift Cycling Culture, and initiative aiming to accelerate collective climate action in the global cycling industry and community, of which she is founder and co-director.
As cyclists we all share a love for the bike. But we also share a global, existential challenge: climate change and biodiversity loss are having a devastating impact on the outdoor spaces we use as our playground.
Shift Cycling Culture aims to accelerate collective climate action in the global cycling industry and community. For this purpose, Shift has launched a film about the impact of climate change on the places we love to ride.
