Cottonwood Mountains: Death Valley Adventure 3
Death Valley’s Cottonwood Mountains contain such notable areas as Marble Canyon, Dry Bone Canyon, Bighorn Gorge, Tin Mountain, and Ubehebe Crater. However, none of these locations are on the agenda for this trip by explorer Steve Hall. Instead, Steve backpacks into the remote, waterless region containing Big Fall Canyon and Hidden Bridge Canyon over a period of 3 days while covering 38.1 miles and carrying 4 gallons of water. Steve was the first person to ever publish information about these places when he first visited them during the period of 2009-2012. Now, he returns with friends Josh and Matt to become the first person to ever capture the area on film and share the spectacular beauty found there with the world. However, doing so will not be easy, as hiking in this area presents some incredibly difficult challenges that must be overcome. This feature film documentary is a showcase of some of the most beautiful canyon narrows found in Death Valley National Park. This is Death Valley as it has never been seen before. Having carried out over 200 lifetime hikes in the park, Steve Hall is one of the most well-known Death Valley hikers in the world and the ideal person to present this film.
