Private Project

Coronation

Roi overcomes many obstacles and is within touching distance of realizing his dream of producing the crown - a kind of Purim show, during which they announce the 'Rab Purim' used in yeshiva, which re-examines relationships and makes one decision at the end.
It is an original and authentic window for a broad educational discussion, which floats through a cinematic story told in bare scenes with attentive and sensitive photography, and raises a contemporary dilemma from the life of students in a high school

Director Statement

Apart from the very experience of Roy's journey, from the making of this film, we think that there is a rare opportunity for an unmediated encounter with the behind-the-scenes of an educational dilemma between students and Yeshiva staff, along with a small but significant coming of age of a Shaminist who dreams of driving change in his immediate environment.
