When my friend Kurt Krauss read his short story Just Out of the Corner of Your Eye at a writer's retreat, I said "Kurt we need to make that a proof-of-concept short film." It's a great hook. Something you only see out of the corner of your eye. I conceived a more cinematic story to explore this high concept, dealing with themes of estranged friendship and self harm. I am currently prepping to expand this short into a feature.
