Adrien Picquenot is a writer, painter, and filmmaker. His video projects blend a variety of techniques including live footage, stop-motion, cartoon animation, glitch art, and puppetry.
Pierrot du Saillant is a theater actor, opera singer, and filmmaker.
After working together on award-winning stop-motion film "The Meal", Adrien and Pierrot decided to co-write and co-direct a short film. "Convulsions" is the result of this fruitful collaboration.
There is beauty in death, there is poetry in grief. You can even find some in regret, in bitterness, in anger if you search hard enough. There is beauty in the ugly, the vile, the putrid, because that is precisely what beauty is: a glorification of what we cannot say, a survival mechanism in the face of what we cannot change.
