Van Galex is a Florida-based filmmaker with connections to Tampa, Orlando, and Miami. Striving to unnerve audiences with his films, Galex implements elements heavily inspired by the avant-garde techniques of Theatre of Cruelty. With a BFA in Narrative Film Production from the University of Central Florida, Galex has written, directed, edited, sound designed, and produced a Technicolor Horror Nightmare [Don't Answer] and a hauntingly beautiful Folklore Tale [Consummation].

Within Galex's work, one embarks upon a journey that meticulously torments. The objective is to create immersive experiences that provoke introspection. Take a moment to sit with yourself, and ponder upon your role in these dark works. As a voyeur, you find yourself peering into the lives of these tormented individuals - but in doing so, how are you contributing to their suffering? How does your mere presence become an accomplice to their actions? The act of immersing oneself in a film transports. Defy passive consumption.
