Connective Tissue

Oliver is a writer/director whose films have premiered at festivals across North America and Europe. From the beginning, he knew movies were it. His childhood was spent making MiniDV films with his brothers and cousins. As a teenager, he went to any length to seek out films that were beyond his reach. After graduating high school, Oliver moved to New Orleans to work on a small feature, and since then he has spent the last decade developing an in-depth understanding of filmmaking while gaining as much hands-on experience as possible. He’s worked in many capacities; including director’s assistant, special effects makeup, casting assistant, grip, actor and production designer. He’s volunteered for the American Cinematheque since 2016, and was on the restoration team that retrofitted the Egyptian Theater for screening nitrate film. A devout cinephile, consummate set technician, and passionate storyteller, his life is dedicated to the art of filmmaking.
