Kris Langford is a filmmaker based in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. He won Best Director at the Lake View International Film Festival for his first film Heartache, his second film Unsolicited won Best Shorty at the Canadian International Comedy Film Festival. Coffee, his third film ;is currently in its festival and he is in pre-production on his latest film Casting Call which is supported by the Waterloo Region Arts Grant. In March of 2023 he was nominated for a Bernice Adams Arts Award (Performing Arts). Kris is the co-host of the How'd You Like that Movie podcast and is currently taking screenwriting through the Sundance Institute.
Film as an art form can not only entertain and inspire but also be a vehicle for social justice.
