Lillee Jean Trueman is a multi-award-winning director and classically trained actress whose cinematic work is defined by high-fidelity storytelling and a sophisticated technical foundation. Based in New York City, Trueman’s pedigree is rooted in Meisner training at the T. Schreiber Studio and refined vocal training at the Liz Caplan Vocal Studio. This disciplined background informs her "total filmmaker" approach, seamlessly bridging the gap between evocative performance and commanding directorial leadership.

Since 2015, Trueman has cultivated a formidable slate of IP in the industry. Her directorial voice gained international resonance with the acclaimed documentary ‘Project: Bullyish’ (2024), winning Best Documentary Feature in Beverly Hills, and the two-time award-winning celebrity series Lillee Jean TALKS! Live, featuring industry icons like Don Most and Emmy-nominee John Callas.

Captured on location in my native New York City, Cloud Snow In New Winter is a silent observation of nature’s raw resilience as the season descends. I have always been inspired by the environment’s ability to offer and give, and I believe the world should be documented 'as is'. Not just visually, but ethically. To honor the very landscape that provides these visuals, the production was executed under a strict zero-impact mandate: utilizing zero motorized transportation, moving exclusively by foot, and employing a legacy camera system to minimize electronic waste. My commitment to sustainable filmmaking is rooted in my technical background in Environmental Engineering & Technology (CTE), which specialized in STEM-based problem-solving and technical design mechanics. By applying these engineering principles to the cinematic frame, I am able to ensure a high-fidelity output that remains in harmony with our natural world, proving that professional production and the environment, can coexist with absolute precision.
