In 2021, her short play ‘Papi’ won first place at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe Theatre Festival. Her film credits include ‘POKENO’ (2022), ‘Papi’ (2024), and ‘Closure’ (2025), premiering this year. ‘Papi’ has screened at over a dozen festivals internationally, winning Best LGBTQ Film at the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival and Best Actor at the People’s Film Festival. Her recent short ‘Closure’(2025) made it’s World Premiere earlier this year at the Big Apple Film Festival.
My goal as a filmmaker is to create stories that deeply resonate with the human condition, connecting us through shared experiences. Grief is one of the most universal emotions we face, and it often drives us to seek closure at any cost. In 'Closure', I explore the lengths we go to in order to find peace. This film speaks to a collective struggle that I believe will resonate powerfully with many, especially in these times.
