Closed Chapters follows Chinx, a film Director caught between his past and present, whose decision to answer a call from a former lover, Kiana, pulls him into an emotional spiral he never intended to revisit. What begins as a seemingly harmless reconnection quickly unravels into tension, jealousy, and unresolved trauma when Kiana’s current relationship with Renee collides with lingering feelings and buried truths.

As emotions intensify inside confined spaces—homes, cars, and intimate conversations—the lines between love, possession, and pain blur. Confrontations escalate, forcing each character to face the consequences of their choices. In the end, Chinx is left grappling with the weight of a decision that proves some doors, once reopened, can never truly be closed.

Director Biography - Oluremi Raphael Hart

Oluremi Hart (Soulblue ♈ries) is a director and cinematographer known for creating emotionally driven, character-focused films with a cinematic visual style. A Miami native based in the Atlanta area, he is the founder of Bella’s View Studios, where he often directs, shoots, and edits his own projects to maintain a cohesive creative vision. His work explores themes of love, consequence, and personal conflict, blending grounded storytelling with stylized visuals. He has directed multiple narrative and commercial projects, including the short film Closed Chapters, where he led a full production from development through execution. With a hands-on approach and a focus on authentic performances, he continues to build a diverse body of work across film and digital media.

Director Statement

Closed Chapters is a story that is suspenseful and presents to us 3 complex characters navigating the emotional turmoil of love, jealousy, and self-discovery. Closed Chapters takes us across planes of reality and will present to us a scenario that our characters could have prevented. The Central message in the story is to move on and let go, and for sure don't look back, a lesson that many, including myself can find challenging.
