Director Statement

I have made short Christmas themed films in the past but never as a dark comedy subject before. Christmas films tend to be warm and fuzzy all the time and I wanted to show something that is a little more honest during the holidays.

This film is based on my Christmas shopping last year. After telling my story to my friends, they were both horrified and laughed at the same time. And that gave me enough confidence to make this into a film. So my actress friend and I shot it right away.
