An intimate animated documentary about the most prolific goal scorer in international soccer history, and the power of quiet leadership.

Christine Sinclair scored more international goals than any player in soccer history, men’s or women’s. Moving between the roar of the world stage and the quiet moments behind it, the film reveals a leader whose power lived in restraint, yet she carried Team Canada from underdogs to Olympic gold. A story of how quiet leadership can leave the loudest legacy.

Eoin Duffy is an independent animation writer-director whose short films combine dark humour with emotional depth. His work has screened at 200+ international festivals, won numerous top prizes, and received major recognition, including an Academy Award shortlist and nominations from the European Film Awards and Canadian Screen Awards.
Christine Sinclair’s story resonated with me because I recognized myself in it. I’ve never been the loudest person in the room, and for a long time I assumed that meant I wasn’t built to lead. Like Christine, I’ve often worked from the background, only to learn that leadership doesn’t need to be performative to be effective.
This film comes from that shared understanding. It looks beyond achievements to the quieter forces that shape a life, family, pressure, self-doubt, and resolve. Through animation, we explore those internal moments, and the power of leading through action rather than volume.
