Dan Chen is an actor best known for his work in film and television. When not on set, he enjoys working in education at an independent school for girls in Manhattan, and as a college adjunct professor (including a course on Art and Social Change). He is a graduate of Cornell University, Brooklyn Law School, and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Dan is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild (now SAG-AFTRA) and earned his SAG card with a guest starring role on the HBO hit series THE SOPRANOS. Between teaching and acting, Dan feels blessed to be able to do what he loves. He is represented by Central Artists Talent Agency in Burbank, California.
Dan enjoys exploring ideas about time and space, and THE CHICKEN AND THE EGG is no exception. Two seeming strangers meet and live out a lifetime in a matter of moments, sharing a cosmic connection, and ultimately falling in love. Dan believes that "love at first sight" is the ultimate form of science fiction - not because it's not science, but because we don't know how to explain it yet. In the meantime, Dan often writes relationship dramas as a way to transport himself and his audiences on profound journeys that cause us to rethink and/or shift our perspectives on life and the multiverse around us. THE CHICKEN AND THE EGG is Dan's genre-blending follow-up to his critically acclaimed and award-winning short film, ENTROPY (which is now playing at multiple film festivals around the world).
