Franki “CHEECH” started his career in advertising way back in 1999, he is and awarding
winning Art Director with honors such as the Telly’s to the National Addy. His stint in
advertising burned him out and in 2003 during the economic downturn of America, he decided to get his masters degree in Graphic design with a minor in Film. In 2005 he recieved and MFA from the International Fine Arts College in Miami, Florida but his dreams of being a DP would have to wait for another 10 years. He went back into the design field and found a fondess for mobile applications and websites and eventully turning that love into a lucrative career in software design. With the proper funding off his sofware business and fulltime job Cheech founded “SHIFT PICTURES and FOURTH CITY FILMS with his two BEST FRIENDS, JEREMY KING, and LILLIAN MCLEOD. He is a Group Creative Director / UX Strategy Lead at World Wide Technology /// ASYNCHRONY LABS in Saint Louis, MO where he spends his off days playing with his daughter Cianna Ray Cambeletta, (Young ARA) and with his
cameras. His current film projects are a true crime documentary titled: “HIM and HERS, the ELSA LEMP STORY” he is also currently collaborating on a episodic paranormal series titled “PULLDOOR” with Lillian McLeod and a controversial documentary titled “ THE AGITATOR” which is about the black and white divide in SAINT LOUIS.
CHEECH gives back to the community of the Creative Arts by teaching at local universities including, University of Missouri Saint Louis (MIZZOU), Lindewood, The Miami AD School, and the Art Institutes where he is a HALL OF FAME inductee.
Cheech has always lived by the words of his late mentor Luciano Alvaro Franchi:
