Director Biography - Eileen O'Meara

Eileen O'Meara is an American artist known for her award-winning, hand-drawn films “Agnes Escapes from the Nursing Home”, “That Strange Person”, and "Panic Attack!".
She produced and directed commercial spots for clients including HBO, UNICEF, and Motown, and received grants from the NEA, California Arts Council, and Women in Film Foundation.

Director Statement

Kim Adelman was producing a compilation of shorts for Warner Home Video entitled "Chaos", and asked me to make this film.

It's based on Chaos Theory/Fractals, and the idea of the same pattern recurring at different scales.

I wanted to make this a single sequence of hand-drawn images—with no edits.

Carolyn Townsend did the sound design and sound editing, Cormac Funge did the sound mix.
