In the struggle between rulers, it is the children, wives, mothers, and fathers who are left to mourn.
Amid the clash between good and evil, sometimes a fleeting moment of humanity breathes new life into a soldier’s soul; and sometimes, the final breaths of a soldier in a smoke-filled trench become the beginning of another soldier’s life.
Neither language nor borders can separate human beings from the feeling of compassion and humanity.

War — a terrifying word that makes children think of their father’s embrace.
Sometimes, the distance between a meeting and an embrace is nothing but bullets and missiles.
In the struggle between rulers, it is the children, wives, mothers, and fathers who mourn.
Sometimes one less bullet, sometimes a single moment of reflection, can return a child to his father’s arms.
Between the battle of good and evil, sometimes a brief moment of humanity brings breath back to a soldier’s body.
At times, the final breaths of one soldier in a smoke-filled trench become the first breaths of another.
Neither language nor borders can separate humanity from the feeling of compassion.
