Censored Dreams
Censored Dreams is an insightful look into the independent filmmaking in the Philippines. The film takes us through the process of making a gay film by following the lives of an aspiring actor, Samuel (Arjay Carreon) and a struggling filmmaker, Wilfredo (Richard Quan). Samuel puts all his dreams in becoming an actor in the film by doing everything he could and Wilfredo gives his all to finish the film because his livelihood depends on it. But their hope is dashed when the Board of Censors gives an X-Rating to the film which means that it is banned from being shown publicly.
Censored Dreams humanizes and shows the struggle and sacrifices of the people involved in a small film.
