Cass n Don: Cassidy has a crush on Don and likes to hook up every now and then, but with his dorky personality and her menopausal outburst, Don doesn't know what he's in for.

Director Biography - Andrea Clinton

Biography
Andrea Clinton is Writer/Director/Producer of both Film, TV & Theatre. She's the niece of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's George Clinton of the funk band Parliament/Funkadelic and she writes with the same creative knack.
Today, Andrea is pitching several scripted and non-scripted projects to TV networks, streamers and others platforms. H.I.T.S (Heroes in These Streets), her scripted series and a docu-series of the like, sheds light on human trafficking in the Urban Community.
Andrea is also a resident of Rutgers University, Express Newark program where she wrote, produced and directed, Cassidy, a dramatic-comedy series about the journey of a woman during the onslaught of menopause, until what seems like her and her family’s demise. Also, under her residency, Andrea is producing other projects like panel discussions and interviews, etc., to shed light on human trafficking awareness and prevention, as well as women in the life of cinema and entertainment. Additionally, Andrea was commissioned to produce her play, The Parcel Man, at Art House of Linden in March, 2019.
Andrea and her son Eddie-Yasin won an entrance in Urban Playwrights United Film Festival for "Red Lake" and "There Comes a Time" which are films they wrote, directed and produced and bought home 4 awards: Best Film, Best Cinematography, Best Actor for the film, Red Lake, and Best Supporting Actress for the film "There Comes a Time."
In March 2017 Andrea won a 2nd admission to perform her play, "The Parcel Man" in the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival, her first was her play, "It’s a Family Affair" in 2016. Andrea’s production company, People Helping People, Arts & Entertainment performed a showcase of 8 of her short plays at Paul Robeson Hall, Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey. Following that year, she also won a 2nd year at Rahway Culture Crawl, to perform her short play showcase.
In 2016, Andrea was commissioned by Luna Stage to write a play on the adverse effects of Interstate-280 where she completed the play, "Devil in I-280." Later that year, Andrea won the Urban Playwrights United Soaring Eagle Award, for her resilience to write, direct and produce in spite of her battle with Lupus. Andrea also won the 2015 and 2016 UCACT Grant Award to produce Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award winning play, "God of Carnage," 2016; and her play Murphy’s Law 2015.
Andrea Clinton is an author who's noted for several novels and short books. Most known for her debut novel, One Who Loves You More, which is the 1st book in her, Life Knows No Bounds series, 2007, a series she uses to stress to all that, "Life isn't out to get you personally, it just doesn't know boundaries."

It is an honor to submit to your festival. I live to entertain. Although I never get in front of the camera or audience on stage, I love entertaining audiences and bringing them real life events and issues via film, TV & theatre that they can relate to.
