Director Biography - Richard Corso

Born in Denver, Colorado, USA - Richard David Del-Real Corso became interested in cinema at a very young age, making short films with his siblings. Influenced from filmmakers like Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Wong Kar Wai, Paul Thomas Anderson, The Coen Brothers, and Martin Scorsese; Corso's first breakout short film in the Denver scene was "Who's Bruce Flynn?", a sadistic and awkwardly dark comedy. He went on to make the award winning short film, "Fish" - a crime drama in the vein of Nicolas Winding Refn. His most recent film is a dark comedy called The Salesman, about a man who gets involved in a cult like way of life, centered around the secret life of sales. At age 23, Corso is now working on more work, collaborating with his "Roostercat Crew". One of which is a feature film called "Meloncalling"; a coming of age, surrealist film about a writer with writer's block who goes out to find the plot to his novel.
