Director Biography - Joey Horan, Manish Khanal

Joey Horan is a filmmaker and journalist based in the Bay Area. He currently works as an associate producer and assistant editor at Actual Films. He was named the 2022 Brian Pollack Fellow in Documentary Filmmaking. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.

Manish Khanal is a reporter and filmmaker based in the Bay Area. He currently works as an Associate Producer at Citizen Film. He was named a 2023 Knight Hero by IF/Then Shorts, Miami Film Festival and the Knight Foundation. He holds a master's degree in journalism from University of California, Berkeley.
