Director Biography - Cai Barnard-Dadds

Cai Barnard-Dadds is a Welsh filmmaker from Swansea. After writing, directing and winning awards for his independent feature anti-romance film 'Sinatra Blue', he was ready to use his experience with depicting relationships to tell the true story of Captain Moonlite and James Nesbitt.

When I learned about Moonlite's story I became adamant about respectfully adapting the story to film. Andrew's story holds much power and an important lesson about being true to your identity even in adversity.
