Brief Synopsis

Jamie Morrison teaches ethics at Columbia but practices none of it—five years after her economist mother Katherine died in a "car accident," Jamie has avoided the truth she always suspected: her father, Senator Richard Morrison, had her killed.

On the fifth anniversary, Jamie finally listens to Katherine's recording from the night she died. She hears her mother's brake lines fail.
