Camille who literally likes to set the tone and the height-anxious Chameleon are inseparable. They love playing hide and seek and complete each other. Until one day when Chameleon has an idea that changes everything and things don't go as Camille expected it. Both have to make individual experiences and find their own way to overcome fear and pride to realise the value of their friendship. A touching adventure set in a beautiful analog environment.

Director Biography - Lucie Nichelmann

Lucie Nichelmann is an illustrator, animator and filmmaker from Berlin currently based in Halle, Germany.
She studied illustration, design and Fine Arts in Germany ( Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle) and France (ESAAIX and HEAR Strasbourg) and ventured into big commissioned animation TV productions and artistic stop-motion films. At the centre of her interest is a sensible research on the human condition, colourful and textured worlds, often times inspired by natural haptics. "Camille & Chameleon" is her first short film as a director.
