Director Biography - Alek Garcia, Juan Pablo Pabón

Film director, photographer, screenwriter and producer based in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in Mexico.

He has studied Filmmaking at the production company Imaginary Spirit Films, Film Production at the Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos, and Screenwriting at the University of Audiovisual Media.

As a creative, he has directed the documentary short film "Ecos de la Historia" (2018) for the Red Nacional de Polos Audiovisuales program carried out by the Secretary of Culture of the Government of the State of Jalisco in collaboration with the Mexican Institute of Cinematography; the short film "Cristal" (2019) for the Center for Cinematographic Studies; also the short film "Maybe tomorrow" (2021) and the film "Stalked" (2022) for the local production company Imaginary Spirit Films. As a producer, he has participated as a line producer for the movie "Cupid", which is in the post-production stage.

He has also directed the music videos "Duality" (2019) by the group Nox Aeternus, and "Cette Nuit" (2021) by the local artist Emiliano González, where he also directed Photography.
