Director Biography - Malena Masuelli, Loana Faerman

Malena Masuelli AKA La Malaria is a multidisciplinary artist, self-identified as a porn artist and a dancer at odds with traditional dance. Her work combines performance, video, installation, and dance. She is currently a student in the Master’s Program in Contemporary Trends in Dance at the National University of the Arts (UNA) and holds a degree in contemporary dance teaching from the Instituto de Danzas Isabel Taboga. She has been selected to participate in artist residencies and programs, including DIP 2024, L’Abri 2023, and REDIV 2020.
Loana Faerman AKA Loana Navajas is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans visual arts, digital design, performance, DJing, and music production. She studied Applied Technologies in Sound Art at the School of Music of the National University of Rosario (UNR) and completed coursework toward a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts.
Together, they form the duo Chicas Cámara, whose work CAM GIRLS is a multimedia project encompassing a live multimedia performance, a video installation, and video art.
