Director Biography - Andres Luna III

Andres Luna III spent 10 years in independent theater, getting a taste for what it’s like to be an actor. Now, for the past 9 years, Andres has been practicing and improving his craft as a writer and director.

With the help from his childhood friend Adam Kingsley, the duo have produced many indie short films. After graduating from The Los Angeles Film School with a Bachelors of Science in Film Production, Andres sought out further education through Sundance Collab. There, he received a certificate in TV Writing: Core Elements & Directing Actors.

At its heart, California Dreaming is a story about family. Specifically the complicated, unspoken resilience between siblings. No matter how deeply they clash, siblings share a foundation of experiences that anchor them even in the aftermath of conflict. California Dreaming examines how these bonds bend, break & sometimes unexpectedly hold.
