My filmmaking and music stem from the same urgency: exploring the boundary between reality and the imagination. Whether I am constructing sci-fi worlds or documenting the lives of mountain communities, my goal is to capture the essence of human experience through rhythm. As a director and musician in the retrowave duo Galaxy Hills, I view the frame as a note and the editing as a musical score. My approach is inherently cinematic and nostalgic: I strive to create an immersive experience where sound evokes images and images resonate like synthesizers in the dark.
