CRUNCH TIME
"ℂℝ𝕌ℕℂℍ 𝕋𝕀𝕄𝔼 is a challenge, a provocation, a joyful mutiny. It is a chaos to come and yet already here where bodies are nothing but momentum and dance a cry of resistance."
In the frenetic world of Crunch Time, a sudden explosion propels bodies into a frantic race against the clock. In haste they rush headlong, some fall only to rise again while others collide in accidental encounters that oscillate between shock and embrace.
Driven by a raw, insatiable and contagious energy they relentlessly push back their individual limits to forge a collective force. In perfect symbiosis they then burn with audacity to conquer urgency with grace.
In the frenzy of the modern world where performance, productivity and efficiency reign supreme, CRUNCH TIME plunges us into the very heart of the emergency and questions our ability to unite to stand firm and cope with the pressure.

ℂ𝕙𝕝𝕠𝕖 𝔹𝕖𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕧𝕒𝕚𝕣𝕖 - Choreographer & director
Trained at the Lille Conservatoire and then a graduate of the CNSMD in Lyon, Chloé is first and foremost a performer who puts her physicality at the service of emotion. From an early age she has had a wide range of stage experiences with companies such as Olivier Dubois, Ando, Artopie, DIEM, Groupe Noces and Poetic Punker.
While her research into movement remains central, her attraction to transdisciplinarity and the decompartmentalisation of the arts soon led her to move to Belgium. It was with Wim Vandekeybus and the Ultima-Vez company that she developed and honed her own style, a choreographic language tinged with theatricality; a blend of raw, embodied, wild, almost rebellious dance.
In her eyes dancing bodies are spectacular language tools, vectors of memories and unspeakable stories, and it was natural for her to turn to choreography. She then joined the Garage29 artists' incubator where she created her first performance presented as part of the Brussel Dance festival, followed by a second at the Théâtre des Bernardines during the Marseille Festival.
At the same time she pursued her career as a performer working with Backsteinhaus Produktion in Germany and with the GDRA documentary theatre company directed by Christophe Rhules and Julien Cassier.
Driven by a passion for sharing knowledge she regularly teaches at intensive workshops, festivals and international centers.
On three occasions she accepted an invitation as guest choreographer from the Performact intensive course in Portugal, where she created, with some fifteen young performers, three pieces on the theme of disobedience and the hyper-activity of the modern world.
In 2021, anxious to assert and offer an image of contemporary dance freed from its character so often considered abstract and conceptual, she founded the Cie La Teneur. Today she leads her own projects with conviction and passion, blending dance, theatre, music and visual arts. She created her first choreographic piece, Balec, in co-creation with Le Garage29.
At the same time she directed the video clips DÉRIVE for the composer LTIR - Christophe Franco Rogelio, and RADIANCE for the German group Perigon_gone_on.
She is continuing her collaboration with LTIR and Performact to produce the dance video CRUNCH TIME.
She is currently working on the children's show LE MIROIR AUX ALOUETTES and, with her partner Steven Chotard, on their diptych SCHLASS / BLAST.
The short film "Crunch Time" is the result of a passionate collaboration between the choreographer Chloé Beillevaire, the composer LTIR and a talented team of twenty-five performers from the Performact intensive course.
Completed in a record time of ten days, this lightning project came to life in the charming town of Torres Vedras, Portugal. With no financial backing but boundless determination, each team member poured their heart and soul into sculpting this adventure. They used their ingenuity to bring Chloé Beillevaire's vision to life, turning every challenge and constraint into an opportunity for creativity.
At the core of this project pulsates the quintessence of "Crunch Time": the irresistible pull of urgency, the passionate longing to collectively plunge into the uncharted, and a unified dedication to unleash an artistic outcry.
