CL[y]MATICS
Between floods and droughts, CL[y]MATICS translates the flow of the Madeira River as a vibrant body out of balance. Inspired by cymatics—the study of forms created by sound—the film reveals landscapes shaped by invisible forces: the footprints in the mud brought by the flood and the drought that leaves ephemeral traces in the sand. The landscape, marked by human and animal remains, intertwines in a sensory experience where climatic imbalance becomes rhythm, memory, and resilience.

Our filmic look is about people and events of our time, we try to make films that can multiply or look at the world, sometimes in a poetic way, other times in a raw way. In our view, each film has a good gestation time until it is ready, then, after we mature, we can share our fruits with people and let them go their way in the world.
