Director Biography - Wayne Phillips

My name is Wayne Phillips. I’m a multi-talented writer, director, and historian based out of Brooklyn, New York. I’m a recent graduate of Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema by day, and a Spin Instructor with a cult following by night.

My body of work varies from fun, satirical sitcoms to action-packed, historical thrillers. These works have netted me semifinalist births in such programs as Humanitas David and Lynn Angell Comedy Awards (2022), WeScreenplay Diverse Voices (2019), and The Scriptation Showcase (2021/2022). As of 2023, I have four projects that remain in the top 20% of all ranked projects on Coverfly.

Outside of writing, catch me hitting up all the best food spots around New York City and Los Angeles.
