Serving as Mumbai’s upcoming Premier Film Festival, the Cafe Irani Chaii International Film Festival (CICIFF) is founded to showcase Mumbai and Bollywood as the Biggest Film Industry across the world. With an aim to exhibit the most captivating and innovative content, the two day festival is slated to happen in October, 2023.

Breaking all stereotypes, CICIFF's mission is to present quality films from around the world as well as support, recognize and honor film makers. CICIFF festival intends to connect the film fans and movies goers with the world, especially the serious filmmaker and their associates so as to bring about greater understanding of the art of film making.

The two day Cafe Irani Chaii International Film Festival will be a “Free for All” film festival for audiences to enjoy films from various countries including Germany, Italy, UK, USA, Russia, Bangladesh, Iran, Poland in English and the country's own languages. Indian regional language films like Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, and in south Indian language including Malayalam, Tamil, Telegu and Kanada will be showcased.

Rules & Terms

Entries to the Café Irani Chaii International Film Festival will be considered only on receipt of Submission Entry Fee as mentioned. All entries must be sent either through FilmFreeway or directly to the CICIFF office.

Entries are Open to filmmakers worldwide, all genres and lengths depending on the categories mentioned.

- Filmmakers can submit more than one entry to the festival in any category.
- All films that are not in English must have English language subtitles.
- Each entry must be a separate submission which includes form and payment for each submission.
- The Festival reserves the right to determine eligibility of any work submitted.
- Entry fees are payable through FilmFreeway payment systems and are non-refundable.
- The decision of the Festival committee will be final and binding.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SUBMISSION & PARTICIPATION
The festival will not interact with anyone except the submitter and/ or the producer of the film. If any person - be it the actor, writer, director or anyone from the production crew tries to forcibly extract information about the status of the film from the festival authorities, the festival will have absolute rights to >>DISQUALIFY THE FILM<< from competition and/ or screening which you may kindly note. At the same time, the festival may take the decision to ban the production house completely from sending entries to the future editions of the festival.

    We got best actor award this year 2022 from cafe irani International film festival. They messaged and asked the courier charge amount rs 450 to transfer to their account then only they will send me the award shield. We transferred the amount before one month and till now they are not sending the award and not responding my calls

    As, a film festival experience, Café Irani Chaii International Film Festival goes a step beyond in how and what they present to the filmmakers and viewers as the ultimate experience. Being in challenging times because of COVID they made the festival experience even though virtual feel like you were attending live. With, Virtual filmmaker mixers and Virtual Q&A’s the dialogue about the filmmaking process never stopped. They really championed every film and filmmaker by coordinating with them and keeping them posted – in short, they are, without a doubt, a step above. Community and collaboration is a huge part of any festival and you really felt a part of an amazing team. Thank you to the hard-working CICIFF team for an event well done! What are you waiting for?
