CHRISTMAS IN SYDNEY

Sydney comes alive with a spectacular array of Christmas events and markets, turning the city into a canvas of Christmas Lights. Bondi Beach Christmas Festival, Opera House, Darling Harbour, and Martin Place Christmas Tree, everywhere Christmas time for joy and celebration. Martin Place Christmas Tree, the tallest in the state, is 24 meters high and has over 800 branches bathed in 110,000 LED lights. Sydney comes alive when the sun falls behind the Blue Mountains. Sydney’s neighborhoods begin to sparkle with the shimmer of millions of Christmas lights with dozens of Christmas characters and stunning displays on the street and houses in each region of Sydney. On December 31st Sydney's New Year’s Eve iconic Fireworks at Sydney Harbour Bridge marks the end of the Christmas season.
