CENIZAS
On August 6th, we marked the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki — a moment of unimaginable destruction that forever changed history.
From that darkness, a unique voice emerged: Butoh, a dance born from grief, resistance, and the ashes of a devastated world.
Our performance "CENIZAS", premiering in Tenerife on September 13th, is an homage to that memory — a reminder of the bodies, the silences, and the shadows left behind.

We are pleased to announce the birth of EN2, a duo formed by Domiziano Cristopharo and Franja'.
The name EN2 plays on two intertwined meanings:
EN (円) is the Japanese word for “circle”, a symbol of unity, emptiness, impermanence, and the continuous flow of life and creation — the same spirit that animates Butoh.
En dos, in Spanish, means “in two” — representing our dual presence, our shared language, and our action across Spanish territory.
Under this name, we present our creations:
CENIZAS: a poetic ritual of memory and dissolution.
MENU2SINVERGÜENZA: a visceral, grotesque anti-banquet blending Butoh and absurd theatre.
VERMI (worms): a psychedelic journey (or trip?) into the roots of life.
MATERIA PRIMA: a dialogue between 2 bodies... a creator and his matter.
EN2 is not Butoh, and not theatre either.
We start from the expressive essence of Butoh, but we allow it to mutate, to mix at a cellular level with other forms of expression: voice, performance, absurdity, ritual, body, and space.
Each creation is shaped by the theme we explore and the place we inhabit.
EN2 is a fluid and ever-transforming stage organism.
