Director Statement

The objective here was to make a video on a non existent budget. Being an experienced film editor I quickly abandoned the idea of trying to make a glossy video, knowing that any efforts would fall short. The track sounded rough and gritty and the band luckily felt that the track should not be accompanied by an average video. So I came up with the idea to shoot on VHS. My producer thought I was mad. But I do think the result is the right one for this track.
