Bye Bye Baby
• This is a great original country song written and sung by Lisa Vasey. Lisa has spent her whole life playing guitar, singing and writing music. It takes her a couple of months to write, sing, play the music and produce the songs. Lisa has given me the necessary rights to use this song in a music video for International Film Competitions. This song is about a typical country song – love and relationships, exploring the intricacies of romantic love, heartbreak and finding a soulmate – in this case, saying bye to her current boyfriend and finding her real teddy bear.

My name is Dianne Lang and I have had an interest in photography from about 10 years of age and now I am hooked on film making. I did a film course at Channel 9 TV station at Mt. Cootha in Brisbane. I studied at U3A Noosa with a wonderful teacher - Ingrid Gane who taught Photography and how to make Audio Visuals. I later taught Audio Visuals at U3A and now I have the passion to enter International Film Festivals. We live near Noosa on the lovely Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia and moved here from Brisbane when we retired. I have been awarded a laurel for four films entered in International Film Festivals - Sanctuary Cove International Film Festival (Documentary on Kev Franzi), GreenScreen Film Fest from Perth (Combat), Brisbane - Colortape International Film Festival (Cute Puppy) and Vegas Movie Awards (Kev Franzi – Works 80 Years In The Film Industry). I was thrilled to receive the following awards from Vegas Movie Awards. I received four laurels and two Prestige Awards for Best Producer and Best Woman Filmmaker. This film was also a semi-finalist. I received a semi-finalist notification from the following International Film Festivals: Film Revolution at Montreal, Canada, Dark-Land at Munich, Germany, Cacador de Filmes at Mexico City, Mexico and AREA51 FilmFest at Sanda Fe, New Mexico for this documentary about Kev Franzi. I can’t wait to start on my next music video and another Documentary.
I choose to direct this film as I believe this song has potential to be a big hit one day soon. The video I did for Cute Puppy was another original song written and sung by Lisa Vasey. This music was a quarter finalist so I am hoping Bye Bye Baby is also a winner. Most of the filming for Bye Bye Baby was done in Noosa. The other part was done by my brother Bill and his wife Sue Clarke in Limestone Springs, near Gladstone and by George and Gayle Ward, very good friends near Maryborough. These two locations are on cattle properties in Queensland, Australia. I realised this song needed more than the dancers to narrate the story of the song so I asked my brother Bill and wife Sue and George and Gayle Ward to help narrate the song and give it a real country feel. I also had to have bad boy Ron Annis give some bad looks to play the part and he did it well. It is great to have friends willing to help.
