Bunkar: The Last of the Varanasi Weavers

Bunkar is a documentary telling the story of the community of the handloom weavers of Varanasi, India. It uses animation to delve into its pre-Vedic origins and journeys with the story of the growth and subsequent decline of this art over the years. Bunkar is an attempt to awaken society to the reality of the life of a weaver and the price he pays so that this Indian legacy lives for one more day.
