Director Statement

Building explores how people coexist in shared spaces, navigating distance—physical, emotional, and social. Adapting the original comic with Paul Hayes into animation allowed me to add movement, time, and perspective, turning the building itself into a character. Through layered imagery and minimal dialogue, the film examines connection, isolation, and the subtle ways we witness each other in everyday life.
