Fabiana Miccio, nasce a Sassari il 03/11/1994.
Si diploma nel 2014 in lingue straniere per poi iniziare a studiare cinema all’accademia Sironi di Sassari – corso di nuove tecnologie dell’arte - laureandosi con 110/110 e lode con la tesi dal titolo "La violenza nel cinema contemporaneo - Il cinema violento di oggi e i possibili sviluppi nella tecnologia del futuro".
Nel 2023 inizia la specializzazione in Cinematografia.
Affascinata fin dalla tenera età dall’inquadratura e dalla composizione di fotografie e video, inizia a prendere confidenza con la macchina fotografica e la telecamera del padre, scattando foto e filmando i viaggi di famiglia.
Inizia a fare le prime esperienze in campo cinematografico lavorando per diversi cortometraggi e lungometraggi, formandosi e interessandosi sempre di più alla regia.
Nel 2020 partecipa alla residenza artistica del festival “Cinemartist” e produce il cortometraggio “Ospitalità” in 48 ore a budget zero, ricevendo diverse selezioni. Sempre nello stesso anno, gira “Trapped” e l’anno successivo (2021) gira “L’arrivo”.
Dal 2019 inizia a lavorare all’ideazione e al soggetto del cortometraggio “Il portiere notturno”, per poi concludere la sceneggiatura insieme agli sceneggiatori Sergio Pintore e Daryl Putzu due anni dopo.
Nel 2019 e nel 2020 partecipa per due anni nella giuria giovani al “Carbonia Film Festival”. Nel 2021 partecipa come giuria pre-selezionatrice al “Firenze Film Corti Film Festival”.
Nel 2022 dirige il cortometraggio "Il Portiere Notturno" e lo completa nel 2023.
Nel 2023 dirige il documentario sui candelieri di Sassari dal titolo "Fallu Baddà".
Nel 2023 si avvicina anche al mondo della realtà virtuale e dei video a 360°, curando in co-regia il video "Abandoned Sardinian Asylum 360".
Nel 2024 gira il documentario "Bruno Petretto - Una vita per l'Arte".
Partecipa a molteplici produzioni cinematografiche.

She graduated in 2014 in foreign languages and then began studying cinema at the Sironi Academy in Sassari - course "new art technologies" - graduating with 110/110 cum laude with a thesis entitled "Violence in contemporary cinema - Violent cinema of today and the possible developments in the technology of the future".
In 2023 she began her specialization in Cinematography.
Fascinated from an early age by the framing and composition of photographs and videos, she begins to become familiar with her father's camera and video camera, taking pictures and filming family trips.
She begins to gain his first experiences in the cinematographic field by working on various short and feature films, training and becoming more and more interested in directing.
In 2020 she participates in the artistic residence of the "Cinemartist" festival and produces the short film "Ospitalità" in 48 hours with zero budget, receiving several selections. Still in the same year, she shoots "Trapped" and the following year (2021) she shoots "The Arrival".
From 2019 she began working on the conception and subject of the short film "The night porter", to then conclude the screenplay together with the screenwriters Sergio Pintore and Daryl Putzu two years later.
In 2019 and 2020 she participated for two years in the youth jury at the "Carbonia Film Festival". In 2021 she participates as a pre-selection jury at the "Firenze Film Corti Film Festival".
She directed the short film "The night porter" and she release it in 2023.
In 2023 she directed the documentary on the candlesticks of Sassari entitled "Fallu Baddà".
In 2023 she also approaches the world of virtual reality and 360° videos, co-directing the video "Abandoned Sardinian Asylum 360".
In 2024 she directed the documentary "Bruno Petretto - Una vita per l'Arte".
She participates in multiple film productions.
Il documentario esplora la sinergia tra l'arte e l'ambiente, evidenziando come Petretto trasformi i tronchi degli alberi, le pietre e altri elementi naturali in opere che narrano storie senza parole. La sua creatività diventa un inno alla sostenibilità, mentre le sue opere d'arte fungono da messaggeri di un dialogo profondo tra l'uomo e la natura.
