Director Biography - Kristen Ballard, Katie Johantgen

Kristen Ballard is a comedy dialogue director in NYC.  Most of her work is done as Executive Producer/Director at Forgotten Umbrella Productions. She has also directed branded content, social media commercials, and music videos.

You may have seen her work featured on Funny or Die, WhoHaHa, Good Morning America, the NYC Chain Film Festival, or the Pensacola Indie Fringe & Comedy Festival. Most recently, "Brotherly Love" was a finalist at Battle of the Sketches! Her training is in improv, sketch, and characters at the Upright Citizens Brigade in their Advanced Study Program. 

Kristen’s directing approach is all about maximizing chuckles. She believes it is important to connect with her actor's sense of humor in order to bring the best out of the character.
