Supported by Creative Minds - a charity hosted by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust - BU Film Fest CIC will screen 2 short films (with an emphasis on mental health) followed by a short discussion about the issues raised.
Selected titles include 'The Saddest People Have The Brightest Smile' (commissioned by Suicide Prevention West Yorkshire) and 'Real Time Talk' (directed by Geoff Brokate).
This will be followed by the headline feature film Mapantsula (directed by Oliver Schmitz), a South African crime drama which was the opening night official selection at BUFF 2023 in Leeds last October.
The event will be hosted on site at Crossley Gallery, Dean Clough by veteran film aficianado and BUFF founder, Emmanuel Anyiam-Osigwe MBE.
