Director Biography - Axel González

Axel González es realizador poblano egresado de CINEMA Universidad. Fue ganador del PECDA 2021 en la categoría de Medios Audiovisuales con el documental Amor Trans-parente. Su tesis Open House obtuvo el Premio Pierrot Films en el Festival MIX y tuvo su estreno mundial en el Rome Independent Film Festival. Su documental Identificación Pérdida fue reconocido en el Festival de Cine de Monterrey y el Houston Cinema Arts Festival.

Axel González is a filmmaker from Puebla, Mexico, and a graduate of CINEMA Universidad. In 2021, he was awarded the PECDA grant for his project Amor Trans-parente. His thesis short film Open House received the Pierrot Films Award at Festival MIX and had its world premiere at the Rome Independent Film Festival. His documentary Identificación Perdida was recognized at the Monterrey International Film Festival and received the Jury Award at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival.
